There was a small surprise when ninth ranked London AS (5-13) beat at home 6th ranked Manchester (10-8) 56-44 on Saturday. American guard Katherine Goldsby (173-1994, college: Montevallo) nailed 18 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and Ezekiela Oyeyemi accounted for 13 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Success Odemwingie (-2007) came up with 11 points and 6 rebounds and guard Rehana Khalil (173-1986) added 10 points respectively for Manchester in the defeat. Newly promoted London AS maintains ninth place with 5-13 record. Manchester lost their sixth game in a row. They keep the sixth position with eight games lost. London AS's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in London to the arena .
